In November we had a visit from friends young and old.
In winter Sue and I like to make the most of sunny days. We visited Avon Beach, Christchurch - everyone else had the same idea.
No takers for the beach huts today – is this a ‘selfie’?
It was chilly, but bright.

Another sunny day took us to Holdenhurst to do some geocaching.
The house is the old leper hospital. A gas lamp still in use

Christmas Day at Jane and Ron’s
We joined them again on Boxing Day with more friends. Unfortunately there are no photos of Jane because she was working so hard. We had a super time and were looked after really well – thanks go to Jane and Ron.
